Trip to the Islington Museum

We have had a great term on the project training young people from Hungerford school in video recording and editing techniques at the Film and Video Workshop. Participants have now made recordings of oral histories of the Market Street area and surrounds as told to them by elders from the Age Concern’s Drover Street site.

The term culminated in an trip with the elders and young people to the Islington Museum where we discovered lots in interesting facts about Islington and the Drovers Market.
